We didn’t know HOW we were doing it, but we knew WHY we were doing it. And sometimes that’s all you need.
On June 21, 2020 – Father’s Day, we partnered up with @theDadGang, and marched in Toronto with fathers from different cultures. We marched for the Fathers who didn’t make it home and were taken by the hands of police brutality and gun violence. We marched for social injustice and inequality. We marched to help create awareness for Black Fathers, Indigenous Fathers, Brown Fathers, Asian Fathers, and Hispanic Fathers. You matter.
FATHERS – This is what happens when we come together! #MarchofDads happened in Atlanta, Washington DC, and Toronto! All at the same time!
We MARCH for the fathers like #GEORGEFLOYD & #RAYSHARDBROOKS who never made it home.
We MARCH for the countless children who will never be able to celebrate Father’s Day with their Dads again. ?.
We MARCH for the inequality and police brutality of Indigenous men and women.
We MARCH to put an end to the GUN VIOLENCE in Toronto.
We MARCH to put an end to social injustice and inequality.
We March to bring an end to police brutality and the racial injustices that have plagued our people and communities for far too long.
